ignore my cheesiness but seriously, Jamie is an incredible actor! I don’t understand how someone can see him in a film and not fall in love with his talent (plus…he isn’t to bad on the eyes ;) ) He is going to be the perfect jace because he isjace.
He is charming, funny, adorable and incredibly handsome…

Just because you pictured someone else in your mind when you read the books doesn’t mean that everyone who isn’t that person is wrong for the part.
As an actress myself (I’ve been in theatre for the past 10 years and have a BA in Theatre Arts), I tend to look at things from an acting standpoint. My reaction when I heard that JCB was cast as Jace…”I can TOTALLY see that.” Why? Because he’s a TALENTED ACTOR. That’s been obvious in his past roles. THE DIRECTOR PICKED HIM FOR A REASON. I know how that works because I’ve sat in on auditions and the deliberation process (director/stage manager).
I would like to ask those who are being outright hostile to please stop hating on JCB. As an actor, he’s putting hard work into bringing the role of Jace to life for the fandom, AND I THINK HE’S DOING A GREAT JOB.

When I first watched an interview with Jamie I was sure, he would be the PERFECT Jace. And it really really hurts me, when I see hate directed to him, because he really works hard to do a great job, and we should all appreciate that !
